Loved shopping here with my friend and definitely coming back for the blind books! There was a large variety of books for young adults and my favorite part, LOTS of special addition books with decorative pages or series. Will definitely be shopping here again soon:)

This store is a hit every time for my toddler. They have a great space in the back of the store to entertain children for a little bit before shopping in the store. There is a great selection for children and adults. This is our one stop shop, especially when other places (including daycare) are closed due to holidays like MLK Day.

What a great local book and toy store! I found books, games and crafts for all of my grandkids ranging in ages from 1-12. The kids also have the opportunity to sit and play some of the games and puzzles to test drive them which I really appreciate. Was able to chat with the owner and learn about upcoming events in the store and the community. It’s a gem in our small town!

What a fun store! I went with a very curious 3 year old. We played several game, identified a cool toy he needs and put it on his birthday list. We had the best afternoon. We will definitely be going back and getting toys for a birthday party he has been invited to, as well as the holidays this year. What a great addition to downtown.

I have visited The Curious Turtle a couple of times and will keep going back! The selection of books is great and so perfectly organized, especially for a Mom with kids of different ages and likes. There are so many different options, something for everyone to love! As for the games, not the games you would find in a bigger box store, which makes it fun to look through and explore! Definitely a must see when you are in downtown JC!

Every week since they opened, we've been to the Curious Turtle. We've picked up books for my three year old, my 4th grade daughter and my 6th grade son as well as family games and gluten free treats.
